The Adult and Pediatric First Aid / CPR / AED course equips students to recognize and care for a wide range of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies American Red Cross requirements and other regulatory standards.

This class provides you with a 2-year digital Red Cross Certificate issued upon successful completion. Nationally recognized.

Proper chest compression technique, rescue breathing, and how to operate an Automated External Defibrillator - step by step until you feel confident.

Hands-on CPR techniques specifically for children and infants, with dedicated practice mannequins for each age group.

Choking Response - All Ages
Back blows, abdominal thrusts, and infant choking response for adults, children, and babies. Know exactly what to do and when.

Wound Care & Bleeding Control
Compression techniques, tourniquet application, and wound management for traumatic injuries in everyday and emergency settings.

Rescue Breathing
Proper mask seal, ventilation rates, and when to use rescue breathing alone vs. full CPR - practiced hands-on with real equipment.

Great course, time went quickly and learned a lot! Feel prepared to administer CPR on a child, infant, and adult if needed. Got to practice on dummies with lights that indicate correct pressure etc. Also did a segment on choking and went through lots of scenarios. Mikey was great, would recommend!

Do I need any prior experience or training?
No prior experience is required. This course is designed for all skill levels - whether you've never taken a first aid class before or you're renewing an existing certification, you're welcome.
What do i need to bring to class?
You'll need an Adult / Child CPR Resuscitation Mask with Oxygen Inlet and an Infant CPR Resuscitation Mask with Inlet ($19.95, purchasable through Emergency Response Experts & ready for pick-up at check-in). Wear comfortable clothing you can move around in. Everything else is provided.
Where is the class held?
Open enrollment classes are held at the Hollywood Production Center, 1149 N. Gower St., Hollywood, CA. Corporate and group sessions can be hosted at your location - we bring all equipment to you.
Can I book a private group session?
Absolutely. Emergency Response Experts offers private group training for teams of up to 12 (Standard Group, $1,299) or up to 24 (Extended Group, $2,399). We come to your location on a date that works for you. All equipment is provided. Contact us to get scheduled.
What certification will i receive?
Upon successful completion, you'll receive a 2-year American Red Cross digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid / CPR / AED. It is accessible anytime through your Red Cross Account - printable and shareable.
Can I correct my name or personal details after registration?
Your certification is issued using the information provided at registration. Please ensure your name and details are correct before submitting. Any corrections after the certificate is issued require retaking the course, as reissuing with updated information is not permitted.
How long is the course and what's the format?
The course runs approximately 5 hours (10am - 3pm) for open enrollment sessions. It combines a brief instructional component with extensive hands-on practice. Class sizes are intentionally kept small to maximize your practice time.
Is this certificate accepted for osha compliance
Yes. This course is specifically designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace requirements or other regulatory standards. The American Red Cross certificate issued is nationally recognized and accepted.

2. Certification Details
The details submitted are final and will appear on your certification document. It is your responsibility to ensure that all information is accurate and complete at the time of enrollment.
3. Changes and Reissue Policy
Any request for changes to the information on your certification (e.g. name correction, spelling errors, or other personal details) after the certification has been issued will require the purchase and completion of a new class. Reissuing a certification with updated or corrected information is not permitted without retaking the course.
